AutoEquip2 problems

Did some searching for the AutoEquip 2 thread and couldnt seem to find it

It's currently not equipping ranged weapons on hunters (This might be a sub-level10 only bug)

If I'm just an idiot and bad at the search function please redirect me to the appropriate thread
 
Did you open the autoequip menu and hit the drop down box to select range weapon?
 
I'm not seeing an option for handling of range weapons, I have however set my weapon style if that's what you were referring to
 
Im at work atm so im realy sure which box it is. I know it gives the option of 1hand weap 2hand weap etc. Does it have a option for range?

I think it's because Im below level 10, and haven't been able to select a spec. I'll report back when I pass 10 and get a new weapon.
 
Yup, thats the one. Looks like its set up right. Make sure the check mark is beside autoequip also. You might be right about choosing a spec first so update me cause im also curious. Thanks.
 
same problem for me, but my hunt is actually 64 and spec, he keep his old gun :( ! Any tip ?
 
I don't think that AutoEquip works as intented.

I've posted issues with equipping weapons/armor 2-3times now I think without getting a solution.

Most of the issues was the 2H equipping.
 
My elemental shamans equip AGI gears... autoequip is crap, but theres nothing else... so lame
 
All i'd like is some kind of "dont use any kind of weapon you get, feature".
Annoying running Assasination rogue to notice later that your rogue doesn't use Mutilate anymore cause he has a mace equipped
 
anyway to make it equip specifics like daggers or certain kinds of gear? would be a cool fix. im currently playing an assasination rogue and it like to equip 1 handed swords and daggers, but if im not using double daggers i cant mutilate... baddy auto equip
 
i think my problem is similar i have the profile set to twohander but its still equiping daggers and other weapons any suggestions?
 
Personally, I think it works pretty dang good.

There are workarounds for a lot of stuff, including the rogue with mace problem if you're creative enough with addons. I would be MORE than happy to help anyone in this thread try to work out their problems with it as I've tooled around a lot with it (As long as Tony doesn't mind my giving advice here).

Post you problem as specific as you can be. If you can give me info on items, item types, etc of what it is or isn't doing, it can only be more helpful. I'll be glad to help fix it if you'll give me the info. I'm curious as to what the "2h problem" was with equiping. I never ever go without AutoEquip and have leveled quite a bit of toons that use 2h weapons.
 
the plugin is ok , it just need some fixing, some more customization on what gear to pick, i am raising only tanks for farm, my dk's got a lot of intelect spirit gear ... we must choose plate/stam/strenght/hit etc... plugin only knows plate/stam , some customization and will be perfect :)
 
kinda fixed my own way of doing this. to all you who are having the wrong stat gear equipped here's a solution that i kinda just figured out by reading posts and VIOLA it worked. So. All you do is this:

- Navigate to HB Directory / Data / Weight Sets

Depending on what class, spec you are playing depends on which profile to copy over.

eg. If you are playing an enhancement shaman - you would copy the elemental shaman weight set and overwrite the enhancement shaman weight set. Simple copy/cut and paste.

If you are playing an elemental shaman - you would copy the enhancement shaman weight set and overwrite the elemental shaman weight set.

Dont ask me what the logic is behind this, but i tried it - restarted HB and BAM!!!! it started to equip the right gear for each spec. So AutoEquip is now my best friend with a simple revision and lil copy paste works like a charm.
