Hi Guys, just thought I'd give you my weightset I currently use, which is based on AskMrRobot website.

View attachment MrRobot Weight Sets 5.3.zip

Installation:
Delete the contents of your existing "Weight Sets" folder (<Honorbuddy>\Data\Weight Sets)
Unzip the contents of the .zip file into "Weight Sets" folder

There are multiple entries for certain class/specs: Paladin-Protection, Priest-Discipline, Shaman-Restoration, Warrior-Fury, Warrior-Protection. Please be aware you must delete the ones that you do not wish to use (leaving one of each class/spec), otherwise this will cause AutoEquip2 to fail to initialize.

I will update these when 5.4 is released, but until then please enjoy :)

Mods, if i have placed this in the wrong thread, please feel free to move it :)

Just to let you guys know, the way I've configured these weights, should (I hope) stop your lower level character from being a ninja in instances. For example, a healer will not take at anytime an item with dodge/parry etc,. Neither will a dps caster take spirit gear. hopefully that will keep your chances of kicks/reports to a minimum.

Just a Tipp

If you make something like -9.9 you make all wrong :D Couse THEN is it so

We need armor and lets say stamia ( so no Inteligenz -9.9)

Item 1
1000 Armor
100 Power
100 Stamia

Item 2
1300 Armor
130 Power
130 Stamia
100 Inteligenz

With your -9.9 Item 1 is better Then Item 2 Whats Definitly not true,

so just do in your weightsets Iggnore nonused STats and not make -9.9 , make 0 instead, then its correct, but with the -9.9 or -5 you will alottime not equipt the "better" item couse it have Extra stats what you not need, but the true is its better, also if he have a int bonus or whatever..

Bad example. Stamina should NEVER be a negative stat.

The objective here is to stop ninja looting of items. Only items specced for your class and spec should be needed. All others are greed. AutoEquip should prevent this anyway.

Let's just say if a pally tank scored higher on that roll than a pally healer, you would end up kicked from that group.

Much easier system is to normalize your stats. Weight your primary stat as 2. Weight stamina for non-tanks as .5 or so (tanks will score higher). Weigh non-spec stats as -1. This should keep scoring constant between all your toons.

Besides which, what would an armor/stamina class (i.e. a tank) want with intellect bonuses anyway? Plus, you wouldn't get attack power (a further positive weight) on the same gear as intellect anyway.

Thank-you for your feedback, everyone knows that AutoEquip2 isn't the best coded plugin, but does an okay job at it :)

Only tanking class/spec have a none zero value for stamina, every other class/spec considers stamina to a be zero (0 x Stamina = 0) so it not considered in valuing the item.

I know they aren't perfect, but they do the job. I've never been kicked from a instance using them. They would have be an even better match if AutoEquip had values for; Main-Hand DPS, Off-Hand DPS (That's why I haven't included any Dual-Wield Sets). I still use AskMrRobot's weight set in endgame raiding, modifying Pawn (addon) weight to match.

Armor is overvalued as a warrior with these weights, so in quest rewards it chooses caster shields over str cloaks for instance, especially at lower levels. So in a scenario where quest rewards are for different slots, it would always pick the shield, followed by any major armor piece, and almost always the dps-stats on cloaks/rings/trinkets wouldn't outweigh even the armor-part of a major armor item. Solution? Maybe to overvalue str by a significant amount while leveling, and de-value armor.

Hi Silvercat, the weight sets work well, it stops you from needing on a item that is not for your class/spec. As for low levels it really shouldn't matter that much seeing gear is constantly being upgraded as, at low levels you level fast. When you are your 70+ you will notice that it will offer the best upgrades and still not ninja. If you wish to change the weights then that's fine but I am happy with them.

Will this be up to dated? :)
Hi Jarrah, I will be updating them to 5.4 once AskMrRobot update their weights.

Is it working on questing rewards? [Depends on the current spec] or it will just take a random reward that doesn't fit with the current spec/class?

Personally I've had no issues at all while questing. If you have configured AutpEquip2 correctly for your class and spec, then yes. But if no upgrade is available, I believe AutoEquip2 takes the reward that has the highest vendor sell price.
