Autoequip on Bow/Gun Problem

I started to level a hunter and i turned on the autoequip plugin and fixed the weapon choose but the thing is whatever bow or gun it loots even it is better then what the character use, the character still doesnt change the weapon(range weapon). So basically it is using the crossbow that character has at the start forever.. What can i do about this?
