Are you using gather gatherbuddy or gatherbuddy2? If gatherbuddy then you can't, if GB2 you can set how many food/waters under the second tab I can't remember the name at the moment.
Also where r u farming where u are getting attacked so much that you need to use a lot of food? You really should need maybe 1 stack of food if that
