I have tried re installing i have tried moderator posted tools and fixes to no avail honorbuddy simply will not work i just get authentication failed if i try the update file to look for an update it gets stuck on logging in and nothing happens, I seem to not be the only one having this problem are we waiting for an update and if so why is it not posted on the main page or on any of the threads relevant to this problem that thats the case I have wasted hours trying to fix this.

It seems I have accidently found a solution. I tried once again to delete honorbuddy and re install. Only to be prompted that it was open in another programme so I went to investigate and sure enough the honorbuddy service was running in the back ground. Upon stopping it i opened honorbuddy and went to launch now i had to attach honorbuddy.exe again to the file path on the launch bar"thats no problem just a simple browse and click" from there i logged in and it is now running perfectly fine. So I believe in summary that it is gettin locked in the update process and upon failing while the programe may close the service is still running and as such disrupting honorbuddy when you try to open it again and hence why authetication fails because it thinks its already running. I hope this helps others out there good luck ;-)
