Authentication failed

Yo,

Just did a system refresh on my pc and this is probably the cause of the issue. Whenever I try to log into HB it simply goes directly to an authentication failed pop up without prompting me for a login or anything of the like.

So it brings up the login key screen now, but it is still saying authentication failed and it is not producing a log this time. I'm 99% sure I'm using the right key but I will be able to check tomorrow morning for sure. In the meantime if this is a problem with HB and not on my end let me know how to proceed.

I've checked the log file and nothing new is cropping up any time I try to log in. Just an automatic response of authentication failed, I'm sure that I'm using the right key.
 
I was able to produce a log after restarting my pc and re-opening HB.

I am able to log into HB on my desktop (no problems no hassles) using the same key which produces this authentication failure on my laptop.

you are not using the correct key
 
I'm 100% using the correct key. I can log into my desktop but not my laptop... double triple quadruple checked the key.
 
but its not, or you wouldnt get the invalid key. make sure theres no spaces before or after the key.
 
Update: I was able to log into HB after re-installing to the most current version. Using same key I used that was giving me the invalid authentication error. I don't know or care to know why it wasn't working before, since it works now... but I just thought you should know that the key was definitely correct with no spaces before or after.
