Authentication Failed

I've been having problems with Honorbuddy everytime i open it it says authentication failed and i've tried everything to fix it i've flushed my dns power cycled my router and modem, made honorbuddy and the ports an exception in my firewall and anti virus, ive reset my host file to default numerous times and i can't seem to get it to work. Please help :(

then your key is not correct, make sure the key your using is the same one listed when you log into your buddyauth account.
 
it's the same exact one that was emailed to me after i bought it and the same exact one listed on buddyauth.com it's listed under unused/inactive because i haven't been able to use it yet
 
pm me the key your trying to use. but before you do please double check and make sure theres no spaces before or after the key.
 
Sent. I've checked there are none whatsoever the key is exactly how it's shown on buddyauth
 
Alright good at least we know it's not the key thank you. I just did all 3 in that order i flushed my dns, with CMD in administrator, I reset my host file to default using the Microsoft Fix it tool in the link you provided and i power cycled my modem and restarted my computer and i'm still getting the Authentication Failed :(
 
on your home router, make sure you have port 5031 open, and make sure if your running a home firewall that honorbuddy is on the allowed list.

do you have another pc you can try? just to rule out that its your pc?
 
I just tried my laptop but it gave me a different error and could barely run honorbuddy and my laptop is wayyyy to slow to try to fix it but that's the only other computer i have
