Yes, both managed by Norton Security Suite. Even tried disabling both and still no go.

I had same problems, had to reinstall windows 10 from scratch but had old HB folder on other driver, after abit of mismatch i went on forum to look on guides, ect and kept looooooking.
Right until I found and used BuddyWizard.

Then everything worked like a charm.

LOLOLOL you completely reinstalled your Operating System? 99.9% of the time its a weird launchign issue if you use the Honor buddy launcher. i just run the Honorbuddy launcher, and if it fails, just go into my honorbuddy folder and double click.....you guys way over-complicate things

It you want the whole story.
It started of Windows failing to run HB with wow with over 10 players on a top tuned new computer (3 month old) and thought that cant be right. I noticed C drive was filled up no way to clean it. Tried reinstall windows and it failed on 66%, then I had to find a usb to....... Making it alot shorter: 2 fuses and 15 hours later (it happened in the middle of the night): I was able to finaly start installing everything again.
 
Got it fixed. Uninstalled DB using the installer, reinstalled to a different folder and restarted. Go to go. Thx!
