Hello, I recent had honor buddy for 1 month. when it expired i bought the full version. I re-downloaded honorbuddy and attempted to start it up but every time it shows the message in the title. I have no opportunity to type in my new code i received so that may be related. Here is my log file.

Thank you for your time, I just attempted running it again without my antivirus and firewall turned off. Still the same issue (also nowhere to type in my new key)

Anti virus system is 360 total security and default windows 7 firewall. Both were turned off when attempted

Also, after opening my firewall and attempting to add honobuddy it was nowhere to be found in my programs.

any windows updates/major changes recently?

i dont know, just started my pc, wow and HB .. it updated itself, and than trying to restart, message popped up

No new windows updates or changes. I have also just ran wizard buddy and re downloaded all of the Microsoft visuals with still no success.

thats an ISP issue

use google dns instead plz

I have changed my dns to the google dns. I changed The DNS IP addresses (IPv4) to 8.8.8.8 and the IPV6 to 2001:4860:4860::8888. Still the same issue when loading up honor buddy.

flush your dns and also power cycle your router

Flush was successful and i restarted my router and still the same problem. As soon as i click the exe launcher i get the message.

Please see the following for steps to verify it's nothing on your end: BosslandGmbH:HelpDesk:'Authentication Failed' errors - The Buddy Wiki (Specifically: To Remedy a non-specific Authentication Failed)

If none of this solves the issue, unfortunately you may just have to "wait it out". The current DDoS is throwing our servers for a spin (even on 1gbps lines, they're getting clogged).

While you do the things listed in the wiki article, could you also get me some additional information:

Open a command prompt and type "ping eu1.auth.buddyauth.com" then press enter. (Attach/upload a screenshot)

Again in the command prompt, type: "pathping eu1.auth.buddyauth.com" and press ender. (Attach/upload that screenshot as well)

This will print some routing information, as well as ping times through the network hops to our server. (This will help us figure out if you're just not connecting to our servers consistently, or something else may be going wrong)

I tried typing both of those in my command prompt. I get a black screen for .5 seconds then nothing for both of them.

try

ping
auth.eu.buddyauth.com

and

pathping auth.eu.buddyauth.com

instead

Second one did not work, but first one did. I get the screenshot then something else pops up super fast and closes it. Couldn't capture it was to quick
