Authentication Failed- Max Sessions

I have recently purchased HB and downloaded the test version for 5.0.4 and when I try to log in it says "max session" authentication failed. I go to the site and kill the current session, but it continues to say "max session". Am I doing something wrong or is this a common issue?
 
we're going to need more information

tell us exactly what you're doing and what happens when you log into buddyauth
 
I launch the game then try to launch HB, I put in my key code and hit log in. HB says authentication failed- max sessions. I am told to go to buddyauth and I go their put in my info and go to the sessions tab and kill the current session that failed. Then I go back to HB and it does the same thing authentication failed- max sessions.
 
The attachment would never work correctly so this is just a copy and paste of my most recent log...

go to your Hb folder,find the "logs" subfolder and delete everything in it
restart Hb and give it a try(before doing that make sure there is no active session)
and then gimme your log
 
I too am having the same problem and have tried everything suggested here. I bought HB on 5.0 patch day and have not shared my key.

HB keeps crashing, send error report dialogue

Hi, I've attached my log file, the issue i'm having is HB just updated again and now it keeps crashing with a send error report dialogue etc.. so i can't keep the app running at all.

Edit: The above is all in order now as of the recent update about 5mins ago, However i still cant post New Threads and my account is activated.

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong area, having troubles navigating the forum and i cant post new threads for some reason, there is no + Post new thread button on my view of the website i can only reply to threads (obviously lol).

kill you session on portal and try again

remove Singular folder and let me know if it gets pass that point
