Authentication failed after crash

I bought an authentication key for Pokefarmer very recently, roughly 14 hours ago. I was able to get the programme downloaded, authenticated, and running, but for some reason, it froze after about ten minutes of use. I waited for ~5 minutes to see if it would fix itself, and when it didn't, I decided to try and reboot it. Now, my authentication key doesn't work. How can I possibly justify having spent my money on something that only works for 10 minutes, and then crashes (thus probably ending the 'single session' to which I was entitled)?
