Do you think they can potentially reverse engineer it and find out a way to track down honorbuddy?

Obviously its not the same code, but i mean isnt there a potential blizzard can learn something from it and use it to catch us?

Blizzard could have been doing this for a long time.
Others ***** HB all the time, and Blizzard has WAY more programmers than those *****ers. (I do not condone this at all, and neither does this forum.)
They haven't because they want our continued subscriptions.
They HATE goldseller, and take action against them quickly.
But if you are just minding your own business you'll be mostly fine.
If someone reports you in a ticket, then they feel obligated to at least suspend/bannify your account.

Glad someone finally says it like it is. Without having insight into how Warden works, I'm confident that Blizzard could ban 99% of all Honorbuddy users tomorrow, if they chose to.
The reason why you're not getting banned is not because HB has such refined detection, but because Blizzard needs the subscribers and botting has become too popular to fire off another huge banwave in light of the already sinking subscriber rates.
I estimate that 10-15% of all regular BG players in the game are botting with honorbuddy now...

HB does have the "Tripwire". It monitors Warden and if it is doing something suspicious, or something it hasn't seen before it 'should' disconnect every HB in the world :)

You estimate very wrong.

In the try to get a settlement of me, blizzards pre filled contract said that they wanted the source of Honorbuddy, i do not expect it to be different with Pirox.
However user details (from Pirox) would never go to Blizzard.

Ooooh. Some insight into the life of Bossland.
We've all missed your presence on the forum btw :)
