Article: Honorbuddy Paid Plugin System

Will it be a monthly payment for the plugins too?

So leme get this straight:
If we have GB lifetime we get all this for for free right?
 
I think this could be extremly good, especially things like flying gathering within honorbuddy.

However - I very much hope the buddy staff realise we already pay a considerable sum for honor/gatherbuddy and therefore that the addons are made affordable.

Whilst I appreciate some people use the buddy products to farm and sell gold (which pays for their buddy products), most of us dont.

That being said I would rather pay for example ?2 for a gatherbuddy plugin to my existing honorbuddy sub than ?70 for a lifetime sub (well, fact is I wouldnt pay for a lifetime sub but I would pay ?2 for a plugin...)

In any case the continued development is appreciated.
 
Well if the bot holds out and if it will be imba in the expansion and (the most important thing) the pluggins are worth it then by all means I would like to see it.
 
How will sessions be converted?

How will price reductions be handled for current customers?
 
Sorry to be rude, but this is bullshit. We already pay to get the bots, and for the updates. Now you expect us to pay for plugin's?!?!?!? I think that is madness, this is the type of programming that is supposed to go into the program itself. Not be charging us for extras. :mad: This is like the ipod touch/iphone bullshit. You pay a ton and then you pay for apps. But those apps takes tons of coding-in some cases. But a plug in that we must pay for? I just can't believe that this would be the case. I strongly advise against this. Gatherbuddy and Honorbuddy come with unlimited free updates, while now your trying to go around what we paid for and include updates as plugins. I almost feel that this is a violation of what we have paid for. I just can't believe you would really make us pay for stuff that should be INCLUDED in honorbuddy and Gatherbuddy. I am sorry, but this is just pissing me off!

Thanks for the idea, but i am extremely angered by the thought that you would charge even more... :mad::mad::mad:
 
Spicy, you're stupid as hell. You don't have to pay for it and nothing will change, they're just going to give us the option to be able to pay a bit more to further enhance our botting experience. If you don't want to pay more, then don't buy the plugin, easy as that.
 
Let me rephrase what has been said so Spicy can understand better:

HB = a computer
Plugins = RAM, HDDs, VGA cards, coolers etc.

Not paying for plugins is like expecting free PC parts :)

I understand where Bossland and company come from but we should wait and see how this goes and then start flaming and nerd-ragging :).

Who the heck said you "have" to pay for it ?!?!
and you really think that an "AH" plugin/feature should be included as a part of the program???
It's called Honorbuddy.
It does PvP , Grinds, has mixed mode,Has plugins (which are free) ,will "soon" have questing And Smarter than most (if not all) the bots in the market.
Now tell me..what bot has even half the features that HB offers?
Tell me...do you know of ANY AH bot or a bot that has AH'ing as a feature in it that is Public And "free" ?

AH bots are mostly either private or private and cost money.
Having it as a Plugin (extra feature) that is "dirt cheap" , is a Great advantage.

And to be honest, you wouldn't be so annoyed about the payment if you actually had use for it.
AH bots are made for Hardcore farmers and/or gold sellers, Which both know how useful and worth the cost this little feature is.

If the buddy team wanted to be gay about it, they would've made the questing bot a plugin.
But no, they guarantee that it will be a "free of cost" feature.

There is a difference between "features" and "extras" .

Not to mention, that Making a plugin such as the Auction house plugin is not as easy as you think..

It's not just 10 lines of codes and 30 minutes and a beer that is spent on it.
It takes hours upon hours of coding/testing/debugging a plugin that can do such a job.

Imo, it deserves being paid for.

And come on..HB costs 15 euros for a year and it has all this features..
check the other bots and do your math >_>

what concern me is the level of quality of this plugins.
For e.g if they have problems , bugs etc that completly break them as happens with free plugins, so they should be free of charge.
A demand of quality of a paid will be much higher.
Second Point is the price if isn't cheap, dont except many costumer to buy it.
 
I wouldnt mind paying for plugins. But i would rather see some fine tuning of HB and reworking of the BG meshs before i had to start paying for new stuff. But overall i think its a good idea

Example- as i was posting this i notice on the other computer that my bot has all of a sudden stopped looting and skining mobs.Theres nothing in the log. These are the kinda things that happen all the time with this bot,so get the bot running perfect,then ask for more money.

You paid for HB and you got HB (its a pvp/leveling bot) ... hell it even skins (for free), loots (for free), mounts (for free), mines/herbs (for free - yes its buggy but im sure it will come up), let me see what else it does for free... repairs, other ePlugins that re-stock food/water from vendor, eTrains for free

don't complain. I would still pay the cost of the bot today and only ask for the features from beta (leveled or pvp'd, and looted). Dont be a pansy, get out of your stupid box and OPEN your eyes and ears.
