Arguebly the Best method to level a Guild

If you would prefer not to multi-box there is another way...
-Create a level 1 human (can probably be up to level 5 if you have an existing char to use)
-Invite to guild and supply with bags (more/bigger bags = faster)
-Travel to "The Maclure Vineyard" in Elwynn Forest
-Gerard Tiller has a repeatable quest to turn in 1 "Refreshing Spring Water" for a "Shiny Red Apple" that rewards 60k guild xp to low level toons
-a vendor that sells the water is conveniently located across the fields, 1580 waters = 94.8million xp and takes me about 30 min per load

Now you can manually click through the quest till you wrist and fingers fall off... or you can find/write a profile/plugin to travel between the vendor and quest npc...
or go somewhere in between and use wow addons plus autohotkey scripts to just do the turn ins (this is the method I use).

Doesn't work. Quest doesn't give any GuildXP. I just tried.

You have to use a level appropriate character for the repeatable quest. I've been doing this off and on all night with my level 1 pally. Already I have went up 3 (almost 4) levels and have reached exalted with my alt guild.

Don't believe there is which stinks cause I want to level my horde guild, lol.

I don't know where you got the XP from but no, it doesn't work. Tested it with a level 1, level 5, level 10, level 85, no GuildXP at all.
 
No, wait! Scratch my remark!!!

It just takes a while for the GuildXP tooltip to update!!

Never mind my remarks. This thing works!
 
By the way;

Also a brilliant way to get your guild reputation up.
Too bad HB is generally a bit slow on delivering quests otherwise this should be part of the 1-85/1-90 profile: Do this until you're exalted with the guild ;)
 
Works great for me
EU Realm
created new lev 1 human mage
go to the quest giver
bought hundreds if springwater
used addon turnin
and klick klick klick
 
For those that can't do this due to character space being an issue. Try the thorium brotherhood repeatable quests in BRD. the mats for those turnins are easily farmable and usually cheap on the ah.

Does this quest work for horde also? Also what is the name of the quest?

One of these 5 should work for either faction.

Favor Amongst the Brotherhood, Blood of the Mountain - Quest - World of Warcraft

Favor Amongst the Brotherhood, Core Leather - Quest - World of Warcraft

Favor Amongst the Brotherhood, Dark Iron Ore - Quest - World of Warcraft

Favor Amongst the Brotherhood, Fiery Core - Quest - World of Warcraft

Favor Amongst the Brotherhood, Lava Core - Quest - World of Warcraft

Only issue there would/might be is if you need to be in range for it to work. So probably a 45-65 level toon could do. I'd be interested to know myself, at least I can do on my horde toon.
