you get rep from the mobs in WPL and EPL so it's doable...

Mobs outside instance stop giving rep at Honored, at least thats how I remember it.

yeah, but don't the skeletons drop those bone fragments?

They do, and even better they drop scourge stones if you have the argent dawn commission (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=1284) on you. It can be replaced with either the Seal of the Dawn (for melee, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13209) or the Rune of the Dawn (for casters, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19812) which also give bonuses against undead.

Thosestones can be turned in for reputation as well. Not sure how long you can do that though
I think ill try to make one.

Not to forget the cauldron quests on the fields.
