Are Strafing and Kiting CC's even possible?

Honorbuddy has become my favorite bot, and after leaving pirox i'm glad to have found it. I'm just wondering since you don't see them anywhere. Is it possible to even make a CC for a caster or hunter that can strafe or kite?

I've leveled all the melee classes, and i've found it very hard with the others, especially in BG's where it's the easiest to gear. I want to level more classes, but not sure if this will ever happen, wanted to see if it was even possible or if anyone is working on anything.

ive been thinking about it alot, how does a human pick where to kit to while moving? and on the flip side how do i come up with the math to pick a wow point that will do the same thing? yea its possible, but while the goal seems really simple, the code needed to complete that goal isnt. id love to make something that can out play someone in pvp, but that goal just doesn't seem feasible.
 
ya, i couldn't even think of how you would do the math on that, maybe i should ask one of my math friends that knows programming.
 
i would like to start to try to make my own cc for, would start with something easy like my warrior, i have alot to go read.

Glue does this CNG.
 
i was talking about a much higher level of logic then Glue or any other project is currently providing.
 
In a static map (AV) could one determine blackspots (rocks/water) and then have the toon stay x distance away, picking only the non-blackspots as a location? I feel like I've seen a hunter kite-ish CC, always running to a certain distance from target....gonna go looking.
