There are two servers for founders (archeum package):
Alpha and Omega
both are open to Alpha users. You buy this status with the above mentioned package.
These servers are always on with the exception of maintainances, fixes,...
These servers are separated from the servers for beta (-events).
After release the chars of the these servers can transfered to public test servers, but not to release-servers.
I hope, these informations are a bit helpful.
btw. the interest in this sandbox mmo is very high. Betakey-promotion-giveaways via trions partners (eg alienware) ran outta keys within hours.
afaik Trion plans to start 6 EU and 6 NA servers.
Because this game is not a complete new game (running in Korea already), they surprised the community with a very fast, and only a few days before announced, closed beta event. Same will be with release, I guess. So please don't think there's much time cause of alpha status.
There are already archage hacks (radar included). Please don't be the last, cause of underestimating the potential and interest in this game.
IMO as botter of FFXIV (using mmoviper of course), Archeage has more complex crafting. Not only crafting but gathering too, since around 80% of your crafting you need to grow something. All monster drop coinpurse, its like random box that gift around 30% of its exp and low chances of rare items, so we need bot for grinding too...
And there is trading pack to make money :
- Grows or raises something
- Gathering
- Than manually move to the gold trader

Game is awesome ... i mean i am not to hyped about this but crafting / growing stuff and PVP is great.
Problem i am having with it are labor points.
Labor points are needed for EVERYTHING ... heck even opening loot boxes, farming, crafting, questing .... can you imagine being out of them?
You cant do squat while you wait till they regenerate ... how do they regenerate? Well you can be online AFKing in town or offline if you have a subscription plan (patron status) or you buy somewthing from cash shop that refil like XXX LB instantly ... do you see the problem here? Yep. P2W model ...
How will you sell gold in this game?
I think you wont since main currency to even PLAY this game are LP ... without LP you cant even play the game even if you have millions of gold you cant do crap.
Of course everyone is saying LP are here to combat bots ... ( lol ) but what i think is that LP are an awesome way to milk players dry ... you will see after 1 year post launch ... 200 LP to log in ... 100 LP to chaT in general channel ... 300 LP to kill a player .... pushing community into buying from cash shop more and more.
Loving the idea of the game, its system and cash shop implementation is what bugs me.
