ArchaeologyBuddy for leveling ?

Ok so i have been using kicks leveling profiles for questing and this is working ok but the problem is it is not AFKable at all so i saw this thread about leveling via ArchaeologyBuddy so i wonder:

How long time dose it take in /played approximately?

What level could i use this for 80-85 or 1-65 etc?

Is there any profit involvd?

and finally is it 100-99% AFKable ?
 
Asked a few minutes before smth about Archeology Buddy.

So information I got:

It sucks from 1-65 because you dont have fast flying.
Its most usefull from 70 when you get 280% Flying but also viable for 60 with 150% flying but not as fast as questing i guess.

Cant tell you how much /played, will test it today/tomorrow , at the moment i sit at work.

Profit can be Pets/Mounts/very valuable Artifacts you restore up to 250gold for one (varies from some copper to high amounts of gold)
 
I used archaelogyBuddy to level my druid as soon as I hit 60, it really works wonders! you do have to watch out until it reaches a bit higher level due to the fact it might agro some mobs, and it isn't always the CC works properly, but I did 99% of my archaelogy time afk, and I didn't get stuck, It died once in a while but except from that worked nicely. I started archaeologyBuddy at level 60, and by the time of 70 I had money for both epic flying + all of my skills :D
 
One nice thing about Archaeology is that if you run it from ~65-70 until 84 or so, you'll end up with enough money for fast flying, and even the 310% flying at 85 in most cases. I normally hit 85 with 280% flying and enough money to buy a full ilvl 377 pvp set and sometimes epic 365+ weapon.
 
Just botted 80-83 and 84-half 85

Not worth it, takes too long itme and too less gold.

It works well but in general it seems to take about twice as long as questing. I still like to do it since it's so safe.

this, if u plan go fully afk ie: sleep.. and u dont want to lose time cuz stuck or something
 
this is great for leveling, ive used it on atleast 4 characters for 80-85. Some i leveled to 81 or 82 then botted the rest, or i got bored of a 83 and just archaeology for free 85.

when u reach 80 in kalindor.. u go outland to 85 right?

my question is: should i upgrade my arche prof 325+? or with that level ill still getting exp? what happed if i lvl it up?
 
I've leveled an alliance pally from 70 or so until about 84.5 through archaeology, exclusively in Eastern Kingdoms. I've had no issues. If I do another one, I will not level him past 375 in Archaeology until he reaches maybe 83 or so (Cata zones open somewhere past 450, I think - might depend on character level, too). Right now I've got 3 zones blacklisted just to speed things up and avoid fighting those Cata mobs. I've collected a ton of money, sometimes hitting those 200g or 375g artifacts. I also collected a fossilized raptor mount which is sort of fun, the Innkeeper's Daughter which is meh, and a ton of achievements including EK zone explorations.

You can actually continue doing it in whichever zone you prefer. Experience gains scale to your level no matter where the artifacts are obtained.
 
You gain EXP with Archeology caused by your Charakterlevel! not by Archeology Skill. It doesnt matter where you use it. Just be aware that you dont get above 450, because then he wants to run it in Catazones where you can die easily.
 
If you did get your Archaeology past 450, and don't want to fight Cata mobs in EK, blacklist Dunwald, Humboldt, and Thundermar digsites. Those are the Cata ones that I'm aware of. Pretty ugly surprise if you are not ready for Cata zones.

I tried Kalimdor with a 70-ish Horde hunter but I didn't like it nearly as much. I've got him in the EK now. I will eventually get to Northrend and try it out, and maybe Outlands.

But yeah, you can level all teh way up in EK or any zone you prefer, or just use it for XP. Doesn't matter.
 
Still cant find an answer to his and now mine question. Aprox how long will it take from 80-85 on arch? Im going to bed and I cant find a grinding profile or lvling profile that is 100 afk friendly
