I've been doing some Arch botting today and twice found my bot stuck on a find that it can't loot. I did some looking around and found reports of this as a bug in WoW, so I'm not blaming the bot for that. Even after a relog I couldn't loot these nodes. Quite possibly due to phasing issues based on the thread I saw just now.
However ... it would be nice if the bot would stop trying to loot it after a couple of failures. I don't know how long I was there the first time but I do know I watched it repeatedly try to loot. I'm watching it do it right now in Valkyrion, Storm Peaks, 25.8 x 60.0 and the bot has tried to loot over 10x in a row while I'm watching. Patrol mobs come by, it kills them, then keeps trying to loot over and over again. Pretty obviously a bot when you are just sitting there failing to loot something over and over.
I ended up taking over, depleting the dig site manually, and then on the last find it popped in the same exact spot. I looted it, but didn't disappear (as in, there were 2 finds in the same spot) and tried to loot again and this time it worked.
1 failure with no aggro should be enough to fail and skip that node. Perhaps a short blacklist for that spot ... then a final re-check of that node when the site is depleted before moving on? At the least though, temporarily blacklist the bad find.
