Archaeology help?

In the first archaeology post, it doesnt exactly explain how its used.
Since im too lazy to scroll through tons of post on the thread I was wondering if anyone can clear up some questions I had?

1. If a character is a low level (60-84), will it not venture to survey nodes in places where you can get killed in(higher level mobs)

2. Why doesn't my archaeology bot survey right away? I see it get to a survey node and it just sits there saying that its loading the tiles for the next spot.. and it sits there for a while.

3. Does the XP you get from archaeology differ as the zone/level you are?

The area you go to is dependant on your archaeology skill level. If leveling, its recommended you dont skill up past 450.

2. Why doesn't my archaeology bot survey right away? I see it get to a survey node and it just sits there saying that its loading the tiles for the next spot.. and it sits there for a while.

This is the bot downloading the navigation meshes for the area. It will do this alot with your first run of the bot, theres alot of tiles to download. The longer you run it, the quicker it goes. Eventually it wont do any downloading and the loading is relatively quick.

3. Does the XP you get from archaeology differ as the zone/level you are?

Level, yes. Zone, no. The higher the level you are, the more XP you get per collect you do.

Why use the bot if your going to sit and watch it all day? Unless your like me and work from home and babysit it
