Archaelogy with GB?

Will there be any chance of seeing this in the future?

I know the thing with surveys would mess it up but I have no experience of coding etc. so just asking if it would be possible? Because that would be insane!
 
Think it would more or less be for honorbuddy since gatherbuddy isnt really a smart program and only collects. And it would take alot of plugin work to get achieve this.
 
Yeah, I think this would be a very difficult job to make a plugin for Arch. Considering that you have to guess where to use the spell, and it has 3 flashing lights which indicate how close you are. I'm not saying it's impossible to do, but more so that it would be extremely difficult and time consuming. And, to be honest, I'd rather have a fully functioning copy of GB and HB more than a plugin to do Arch. Just my opinion.

Not going to argue with you there, however, who said you have to choose? :)

Buy yea. Was just thinking about it. IF it would be possible, it would probably not be in the near future.

Oh, lol, nah I wasn't saying a choice had to be made. I was just saying that the devs and mods so much to do already with trying to get all the bugs out of GB and HB over making a plugin to level arch. Besides, arch is actually fun to level up. It's interactive and kind of entertaining. It's far from the standard 'get mats, make something, sell/de it to get money, get more mats, rinse and repeat' type of prof leveling.
 
This isn't a gathering profession even, sure you have to go collect things but then you have to turn them in for rewards, and from what i've seen so far you have to turn in after every 10?If so, I see this more as an honorbuddy thing if anything.
 
Maybe GB already knows (or can find it in WoW's brain) where the sweet spot is? I might be able to just fly in and one hit it.
