Arch Buddy Sword and Staff Finds - Post here!

Would love to see the people who have used Archbuddy to find the sword and staff (and trinket) finds and about how many solves it took you, and how long it took to find all the fragments using AB.

Just collecting some data. Would appreciate it :) also did you guys solve as you went, or save up?

How to check your solves:
Go through your Archaeology Completed Artifacts pages (every page), then Copy + Paste-

I'm on my 175th Troll Solve and 134 Dwarf solves and still no sword or staff ^_^.. found BoA Cloth Chest, a bunch of useless Use: items, and the Raptor mount.
Heck, even if you haven't found it I would love to hear all of your progress in Arch using AB.

Can you please tell us your solve count? Or any kind of description on how long you used AB or anything???
 
About 212 solves in I got my NE trinket :) Took quite some time lol
 
ok so we need to just save our solves? irl friend told me to wait til after 4.06 to solve?

No don't do that. They are putting a cap of 250 on every race so its best to solve them before the patch
 
I got the boy emperor ring with about 10 Tol'vir solves. Which seems very lucky. nothing else out of my 400 (all races) solves.
 
Excess fragments won't be deleted in this patch, so saving won't change anything. However in a later patch they will delete any fragments over the cap.
 
I got the Ring of the Boy Emporer as my first Tol Vir solve

Got the Dorf staff, will have to check count on when I got that

Also got the Night Elf Trinket but have to check count when I get in game.

But have over 300+ Troll solves on 3 characters an no troll sword yet.

Almost the same.

Ring was first Tol'Vir
Staff was after about 100 dwarf (have over 4k fragments laying around)
Done over 450 troll and no staff
Trinket not yet after about 200 NE
Fossil items were done before I even hit 300 arch but got lvl 60 dress.
Got a bunch of random stupid things. Have 15/20 for prof achievement. No bug mount or vial yet either.
 
over 10k+ troll fragments+countless tablets, on my main, no sword. i read about a way to increase your chance to receive it, wich im trying out on my alt, basicly from what i understand you have a certain amount of chance to get a rare depending on how many you already have found, or something like that, it says that if you only do solves for whatever ur after, you should get a bonus chance of having it proc(earlier than otherwise?), opposed to solving everything. given that trolls only have one rare, i should find out relatively soon. its probably nonsense, tho i also read another thread saying that after 470 solves you have a 90%something chance of having it proc, tho there is always 2% chance it will not proc under any circumstances. this is all from wowhead comments, and i may have missunderstood the math etc :). im on bout 400 fragmetns on my alt(at 450 arch), only solved troll, so ill know in the next few days. after that im gonna try and hit 470 solves on my main instead. pardon the wall.

I am sure if 470 had 90% chance of getting it, a lot more people would be posting about it. Perhaps it helps, but 90% is way too much lol. I would love to hear your results, because it is true that I have heard a lot of people getting their swords pre525, and not so many in the latter.
 
I got the raptor at my 5th solve.....Hatchling at my 2nd

Emperor's ring , dressing gown a bit later into the game though...

Gave up because of the landing bug.
 
200 troll solves and about 130 dwarf solves.

Have all archaeology achievements including the Professor title though.
 
where is the best place to get dwarf/troll items

kalimdor? northend? where plx enlight me so i can get done.
 
Iv lost count of how many solves, but it is alot. Got 10x 85 all are now 525 in Arch iv got both Zin'Rock and the dwarf staff and im now trying to get me 2x more of Zin'Rock to dualwield for my warr :P After that im going for the beetle mount. When I get home ill run the macro and add all the solves.
