the only dmg i seem to take is from arcane sentry and fire under the feet of the elites. is this dmg %hp or set dmg?
if so i will lower my hp and equip more dps gear, thanks.

Actually, the patch notes stated that the arcane lasers would finally be fixed so that the damage you take from arcane lasers is properly reduced by gear that reduces elite damage. From my experiences so far, armor and resistance do infact reduce the amount of damage from arcane lasers. If you want to reduce the amount of damage taken from arcane lasers, you may want to just increase the radius of avoiding them.
