Anyone still Botting ?

Anyone out there still botting despite the rather massive bans going on? If so , What bot you guys using?

For me , I'm gonna lie low for awhile

No , we all stopped botting. I m farming 8 hours a day manually now. Kick gave up from writing new questing profiles, he is instead teaching "how to lvl manually by questing" in a reputable university. Gatherit removed all his public gathering profiles and he is singing in a church choir atm. Botanist gave up from panderea project and moved to philippines to find cheap asian girls in a tropical heaven.

OFc we stopped botting just because some noobs who bot 24 hours a day got banned.....

are you stupid? if you think that 65 people out of around 225 who got banned in same time is only their own fault and thinking that all of them were botting 24hrs? i was playing extremely prudent and got banned same, life is life its fine, and if you not noticed its US side not EU.....

been Using Questing 16+ hrs for about a week now, still going strong. The few more ban posts is nothing, you see 10 more ban posts in one day and youre scared, botting is not for you

If you botted before "all" the bans, then it won't help you lay low for whatever amount of days.

Still botting. 1 char farming herb/mine, but via ARelog so it mixes in some BG's, questing etc too. Profile switch every hour (multi zone), idle 30mins in between.

Other 2 chars i'm only doing daily quests and LFR on (lazy raid), and shuffling the herbs/ore.

USA Botter and still at it - you have to be smart when you bot and yes I could get banned, but it won't be from farming all day or afk bg's

If you're trying to level just bot BGs. No one is getting permaed for just BGs.

I have to disagree here, people are getting banned for BGs - due to the fact that there's so many HB users in BGs and they all run in packs.

The average player of WoW has become more aware of bots than like 6 years ago. They actually now know quite a lot about what bots do and it has also become VERY easy to report bots in WoW. The fact that people haven't recieved a whisper does not mean that they are actually being auto banned.
Not every player goes "/W xxxxx Reported!"

I've honestly never used the BG bots for more than 1-2 BGs and then stopped again, cause i've always found them way too easy to actually notice - with how movement and such are handled.

Does this mean you should stop botting? Nope.

But keep in mind, i do believe that quite a bit of the reports going on are actually other botters who has reported you. For some reason there's people who belive, that they are more allowed to actually bot than you.

Where the hack u get statistics for 65 out of 225? You may think u play (bot) very carefully but u might be still one of those noobs who insist to use the same public gathering profile with a greedy gold seller or who leave their toon in BG with 10 other players moving to exact same spot and same behaviour....

and also guys it is an important fact that if u use ur account like a normal player. I raid 3 days a week in a progress guild with my main toon. I do gear up my toons in heroics and raid finders. I stay online for acceptable periods of time.... So blizz considers me and ppl like me as "normal player" even u farm herbs and mines with ur alt druid and do lots of grinding for skyshards.... Because every player need to farm something or grind for some item. A bot never progress 6/14 heroic bosses in current raid tier. So long story short, if u are one of those guys who uses green items on their farmer DK/druid/paladin and doing no regular activity like raiding arena etc but only farming / grinding/ BGs you will be banned anyhow and nothing changes that even you are careful and you monitor your toon.

Haha, nice one. 225 people in total you think. I think, you can't even imagine how many people are using this bot. 225 is not even close to the real deal.

well one thing that could help you from getting banned is learning how to make profiles yourself.
i have released a few profiles yes but my personal profiles are my own and the ones i use.
why? because i can.

I went through the first 2 pages of bans and you're right, 2 people got perma banned for BGs only. I'd argue that's pretty good compared to how many people got banned for grinding/gathering.

Particularly with ranged dps and heals the bot looks pretty good in combat if you set up the class better than the default. People will have to watch your pathing to really notice and then they really only notice if you're in a huge bunch of botters (40 man BGs - Blacklist them) or they bot themselves. And unlike grinding spots I don't think botters are waiting around in BGs to report each other.
