Got a beta key for the game Eligium (eligium.com)

Has anyone checked it out yet? Looks interesting - nice graphics, some interesting gameplay from the videos I found on youtube. This definetely has some money behind it. Of course, Ryft did too, right? lol

Sooo... what are your thoughts?
 
Judging how they can't even run the site (very slow loading), not that great.

I'm at work where everything loads slow cause we're all on the same LAN... so it loads about as fast as everything else for now. It will be flagged as a game within a few weeks and we won't be able to load the site at all then... lol
 
Haha from the videos and trailors on the website it kinda looks like wow..Human, elves, Pandas? The intro vid looks alot like Lich king and the bad guy is a mix of Ragnaros and Death wing. Really though It doesnt look too bad but think id rather just wait for D3 or GW2 if I was gonna play something other then wow
 
I just posted on the forums, as i couldnt find a beta key anywhere, one of their mods sent me two so i can give my son a chance at it aswell.
 
I Dont like the look of it, seems a bit odd and old to me.

I think for a mmo to take off it would need the feel of wow, their graphics e.t.c because when i play a new mmo i dont like them because my maps either in the wrong corner, my action bars are way off, my chat is not in the left its over to the right things like that.
 
I'm in class tonight and tomorrow morning but we have some beta keys to test it out... will be trying it out tomorrow afternoon...
