I just accidently deleted a char that i was going to sell gold on it had 87k! ;(

um no it wouldn't... i have always since vanilla kept a lvl 1 alt bank toon to store my gold/items, for many reasons... to sell it stuff and to prevent me from spending all my gold, their is nothing suspicious about it, unless that is if he sells it.

Not worth it, I would leave it alone and learn. I once bought the wrong necklace on my mage that I regularly played/raided with, it was with justice points or w/e.. took them two weeks before I got an answer, then the day I got an answer, a day later I was banned during a raid for association to exploitative accounts.. I was able to get it back since I was like wtf I was banned during a raid etc.. but they shouldnt have, since I was obviously associated to my farming accounts..

So you go ahead and try to get that money back, I wouldnt doubt you end up losing more than 87k

I believe the character needs to be lvl 10 atleast to be retrieved, then how higher the lvl how longer it is stored in the databases
