I'm running a ranged shadow build, who's kind of squishy, and the biggest problem I have is with him running into a pack and chickening. Is there any way to make your bot NOT run right up into packs and try to facetank them? I mean, he lays down a flame totem at an appropriate distance, but then often proceeds to run into the pack the totem is burning down. He does it to area bosses too (like sawbones). Runs right up into their face and shoots his bow. I have both melee skills set to -1, so I don't know why he's doing this.
