Any tips on how to not look obvious?

I started botting about a month ago now. At first it was just leveling my alt's just because i worked too much to actually get anywhere. Soon after i got my level 75 Druid to skin, I got the skinning profile's and dinged him all the way to 450. He now skin's and ding's his way in life. I get all my skinned item's and rare loot's and sell them on AH.
But just to say, I have been sticking ALL my Borean Leather, Arctic Fur and Gundrak Hatchling's on the AH when i have been in a city.

So I'm making this post because I have read a few banned thread's and they have been caught for this or that. I think I know the answer. But I just want to clarify..

Is it really easy to get a ban if someone goes onto the AH and find's there is a person with hundred's and hundred's of one item (I.e Borean Leather) for sale? Would Blizz pick it up and start monitoring my behaviour and in the end result in a perma ban?

I dont sell gold to anyone, I do not make any real money. I just play to get money for when i reach max level and money to go on. So I believe the only thing I do wrong is use a bot.. I think?

If you put a entire page or so of something on the AH people will get suspicious
My advice is use alts and split up the AH load.

Ty :) Do you know if there is an addon that can say when a char has mail if im on one of my main's?

it won't be suspicious at all. it would be stupid to waste time splitting it all up between alts. Blizz isn't looking for you everywhere like some people think. Just relax and enjoy the bot.

Bubbleboy, They may not be watching you but if you post a entire page of something at once, Players will report you. All bans ( for the most part) comes from player reports. So saying
Just sit back and enjoy the bot, your going to get banned, and I wont be giving any sympathy.

ye its better to make 3 4 chars on the same account and just mail them items you wanna sell they wil not notice that it is you only i see many times people typing in trade why are people selling on bankalts or other names they want you to sell all items on 1 name so you get banned so ye its better to make a few names

For as long as I have been able to I have always farmed for AH items, though I did it by hand and put loads up on the AH. I would farm SM all day then finally post my auctions, I have done this since the early days of wow and I have never had a problem. More recently I took a few of my 80's to Strat and Scholo and farmed them for about 5 hours. Once I was done I put everything on the AH, including 2000+ runecloth, haven't had any problems. I don't post hundreds of auctions a day, usually I just save everything up and post it all once a week. So is Blizzard looking for daily auction posters or by the amount of items you put up? I do have a few accounts and loads of mules for storage, but I usually just post on my main. I haven't excessively undercut anyone or anything like that. Makes it interesting to know that if Blizzard does ban on the amount of auctions then I should start reporting my competition so I can do a hostile takeover :P

They ban on how you get the items not how much you auction. They will investigate after a report onto HOW you got so much, and if you used exploits/hacks/bots ban you.

we dont know what the flags are for AH behaviour.
so, my advice is to play it safe.
use common sense.
you will be less likely to get a ban.

if you need to dump a bunch of mats quick, use trade chat instead of AH ...
i have seen others doing it too ... something along the lines of ...
"clearing out GB need to sell 80 stacks of "whatever" ..... "
this is also a great way to start/develop relations with private buyers.

good luck to you.

That would get REALLY expensive to just sell leathers etc. You'd be better off just creating a couple other alts on the same account.

Not to mention that trading between account can lead to Ban for Exploitation of Economy.

It?s simple not to look obvious.

Search the less poppulated area of your server for your level range / gathering, and made your own profiles that avoid population areas. That said, the most obvious thing is to use public profiles. I Do use, and i only meet another bot once (he was RaFing in the Same rail as me) so it looked obvious to me he was botting, as i would look obvious to him.

if I want to do account to account trading I've just been sending items via COD for cheap, a few gold or more depending on items.
