Any thoughts on wow cost from scratch?

Was thinking of starting a new account but seems like blizzard is charging $20 for the base game, $50 for legion and $15 for a sub. Is this correct? I remember new accounts in Wod with everything included. Even game time. Now it's $85. Not sure if I want to drop that kind of money atm. What do you guys think about this. Has the cost gone up substantially, or am I wrong?
 
€15 for base game (30 days included), €7.5 with trial link (still works, you need a credit card though)
€8-11 for base game (30 days included) on G2A and the likes.
€37 for Legion upgrade (includes lvl 100 boost) on G2A, don't know retail
In my experience, EU prices are often a little bit higher than NA.
30 days game time can be bought for ~65.000g in-game on my server/region
 
You have always gotten one month of game time with initial purchase since the game was released in 2004. Lol.

It's $60 USD. Base game when you log into a trial account is $10, then you pay $50 for legion. 1 month game time and level 100 boost for $60 and you can start botting Fjarnskaggl within 2 hours.

The Black Friday deals are usually good enough that they are worth waiting for, honestly. Last year had the battle chest and expansion both at 75% off. Would be a good time to stock up on a few extra keys.
 
I bought a battle chest for $14.08 and legion for $44. Saved $11 on g2a. I think you can only use 1 battle chest per bnet account? Either way, i wont be botting til things get sorted out or legionbuddy ever releases. Thanks for the replys

no way...you can just buy battle net funds in a local store which gives you a card with a scratchable code. So you don't need the credit card to use the trial link. Create a trial account, add funds, buy the game for 7.50. Voila.

You could have gotten it cheaper but oh well lol
 
I mean I'm sure i could've if i looked hard enough. I didnt put much effort into my research. Where could I have found it for less?

Is starting fjarn at 100-101 lvl profitable?

THe battlechest you can get for 7.50 if you use trial link in battlenet , and legion for 29$ if you google the cd key you will find the cheapest... Thats how i did it and it worked fine

Yes, but it could be as low as 3k per hour, also depending if you do ores. Suramar herb and mining is guaranteed 5k+ per hour. Usually average 8k. I'm lucky to break 5k in stormheim, could just be bad luck but the bot finds maybe 20 fjarn nodes per hour whereas it will find 50 starlights in that same time. Also I find that suramar has more ores.

NO. you cannot buy a NA version of legion for $29. You can buy an EU version for that price. Prove me wrong and ill give you a legion key myself for $29, US version.
