Any chance of recovering gold after suspension?

So I got hit by the 12/16/2016 banwave. First offence so my 6 month suspension was up today. Thing is I only used HB for the combat routines and levelling toons. I had just short of 1 million gold on my characters on 1 server and about 100k on a different server. So they've taken every lost copper away but not touched my characters which are exactly as they were.

My question: Is there any way I can get my gold back? Anyone had any experience/luck in this regard. I know it sounds foolish, but could I argue that I didn't use HB for farming gold (which is the truth) but for combat routines and levelling toons? I dont care if they take my alts away but leave me my gold!

This is why you should always have another account leader of a guild, they have Never once taken gold from my guild bank. Maybe have actual players in it too.

Sorry, but no chance you'll get anything back from Blizzard that was taken as punishment for botting. You can deny it all you want, they'll tell you they have proof you were botting, and the punishment will stick. They took all my gold too, and everyone who's been suspended has had their gold taken as well. The only way to get it back is to reacquire it through garrisons, old quests, farming old raids and dungeons, farming new dungeons, playing the auction house, etc. It's going to be a long road to get that back, so I suggest working at it as soon as possible.

Shame :/ But I think I'm done with the game. Been playing since 2005 and the 6 month suspension was an eye opener! RL is so beautiful! (and destiny is pretty fun, too)

It doesn't matter what you used the bot for...Botting is botting. The punishment is the same no matter how you used the software.

I lost 2.5 million across 15 level 100's so stop whining for a measly 1 mill
Now, one day after I have my account back, I am up to 200k... and no botting involved.
I guess the most annoying part about loosing the gold is that NONE of it was made botting.
