any chance HB will be up in 4 hrs?

It'll be up when it's up, follow that link jean posted. I can't say if it will or will not be up in 4 hours. But I'm sure it'll be up sometime today or tomorrow most likely. Nobody really knows though besides the devs working on the bot.
 
I dont think that much changed overall but i wouldn't expect anything. Try launching it 30 minutes before raid and see what happens.. if not say you have dieherra and someone punched you in the face so you forgot how to dps/heal or tank today lulz.

Every time HB is down I have to come up with an excuse, lol these all made me laugh pretty hard.

The key is anticipating the patches.... Last night at around 7 I told my team via GroupMe that my wife and I have dinner plans tonight and that I would try to be home in time.

If the bot is up then yay I made it... If not, well then dinner went longer than expected.
 
If you're a healer, grab Vuhdo or another healing addon. If you're DPS, SpellFlash. That should cover at least your basics if you don't really know your class.

Then when your numbers are low, blame lag. If you're a healer, your numbers will probably be higher unless you run out of mana.
 
I understand the down time for actual patches, never got why a 30 mb patch takes them a day to just change the WOW ID or whatever..
 
Wait wait wait, you mean I actually have to heal tonight? Ahhhhh crap, there goes my spot on the team!

They could just change the WoW ID... if you want to risk a ban. Otherwise the Devs have to check everything out and make sure it's safe.

Do you remember past bots? Remember how they got hit with a Ban Wave and closed down? Well HB doesn't want that to happen here, so they play it safe!
 
Blizzard can put in hotfixes at any point that could cause a ban wave to happen.. so doesn't explain why a small patch takes 24 hours to change the id, again.
 
Lol or you don't join a raiding guild that raids on days that patches have always been on aka Tuesdays....Ding Ding Ding
 
Shit I'll be happy if they pull a rabbit out of a hat and HB is up for raid time. Makes my life easier.
 
Devs have explained this thousands of times, every time there is a patch this conversation happens. It doesn't matter the size of the patch.
 
just get a 1 button macro to do the job for you (unless you're healer) this is how i do every time wow updates yea my dps drops a bit but hey i'm having that kinda day if you know what i mean :)
