[ANSWERED] Skipping Missing Pack quest

I'm trying to level up a character but I've realised that I can't continue to use the profile because it's unable to accept a quest because you can start and complete it elsewhere.

So the problem is, is the I can't edit the profiles because they are from the Buddy Store. So am I able to skip the step of the profile somehow, or is the profile just useless now?

Sorry for the late reply. I can't actually pick up the quest. I've done the rest of the quest chain so I there's no quest to pick up. But HB thinks there is.

Hi, Frogi86,

It appears you have done some questing manually, or with another profile pack. This can sometimes get you into serious trouble, as you have discovered.

If Tony's solution doesn't work, this article explains the problem in more detail and your possible solutions:

The profiles also ship with Honorbuddy in the .../Honorbuddy/Default Profiles/ directory. The profiles from the store are updated continuously (twice a day). Whereas, the profiles that ship with Honorbuddy are merely a snapshot of the pack when the Honorbuddy release was made. So, your local copy may be slightly stale, but it provides something you can edit, load into Honorbuddy, and use.

Thanks for the help but sadly deleting the cache didn't help. I probably may have corrupted the profile by doing a few quests manually.

I always do use the profiles from the Buddy Store, but managed to change the ones on the local HB directory by deleting the quest pick up command. Seems to be carrying on now!
