Most likely because of that
 
today was my first time botting in several months..... does tripwire mean the bot was detected and I should expect a ban coming?
 
No tripwire is an internal honorbuddy thing that turns itself off if blizz tries anything funny, such as a hotpatch or scanning.

there was a wow update. Looks like they just did a hot-update. My guess is that it saw the change and flipped tripwire.
 
The error has absolutely nothing to do with Tripwire...

It's either a server auth issue or an issue with HB service provider.

Post in support so Tony and Hawker can look into it. They do NOT read the general forums.
