[ANSWERED] Malware Detected Kaspersky

Latest HB Installer is being detected with "UDS: DangerousObject.Multi.Generic" during installation by Kaspersky. This has never happened before on any installation files. The zip version is fine.

No virus in Honorbuddy .811 installer

Kaspersky is generating a 'false positive' as it frequently does. You can ignore it. If you want to double-check, run the installer through a 'wide-band' virus scanner like VirusTotal.

Here are the results from where we just ran it. It is normal to have 3 to 6 'false positives' in a VirusTotal report, but this shows 0 out of 54. The total includes Kaspersky, which surprises us that your machine catches it, and VirusTotal didn't. This leads us to believe your virus fingerprint database may be out of date.

Thank you for the concern and the report. But in the future, please double-check through VirusTotal (or another wide-band virus scanner) first.
