Hi out there!

I'd really like to know how safe it actually is to use honorbuddy in World of Warcraft. I've had the bot since 2011 I guess, but I've always been a bit careful by using it because I obviously don't want to get banned by Blizzard. But how safe is it actually? How many gets banned on daily/monthly and even yearly basis by using Honorbuddy. I've seen this TripWare thing active few times, and as far as I know, it means that Honorbuddy itself have detected Blizzards ban system active. But what if a player sets the bot to example just farm something through out the night, and the ban system appears? What then? I guess that's gotta be a ban?

So how safe is it actually?

It's as safe as crossing the road at night time if you're not an idiot about it.

Not a single person, including the HB devs could answer this question. There's a forum specifically for ban reports, and figure about 1-10% of all users will actually put a report in there when they get banned.

Is HB safe...The answer is no. You'll get banned eventually no matter what you do. It may not be instant, but if you bot enough, you're going to lose access to your account.

if that scares you, botting really isn't for you.

Poor analogy. At night, you may see the car coming and the car may see you coming. With botting, Blizz would be an invisible, silent car going 1000 mph. You wouldn't know you were even in trouble until it ran you over.

Lets put it this way, I used to drink heavily and bot mostly at night, and Stevie Wonder was driving the Blizz-mobile.

Yeah, you're gonna have to elaborate on what you mean by that statement...

It doesn't really work since blind people don't drive.
