Deactivating the overlay because Desktop Composition is disabled which causes a significant drop in FPS while overlay is active. We recommend enabling Desktop Composition because the overlay provides a safe way for Honorbuddy and 3rd party extensions to display in-game notifications and UI elements

Hi, Snoopymeme,

Indeed, Desktop Composition should always be enabled in Windows. It is so important that Windows 8 and beyond do not allow a user to disable it.

Desktop Composition is a Windows configuration issue, outside the scope of Honorbuddy. If you need to turn it back on, the "To Remedy: FPS issues caused by disabled 'Desktop Compositing'" section of this article will help you get started looking at the usual problem areas.

If the article does not sort the issue for you, you will need to use Google to continue looking for other ways you may have disabled it.

cheers,

I deleted windows 8 and re-installed windows 7 again on my computer and got the same problem i fix it by reading that someone on the forum had just have the same issue as me. He solved it doing this, maybe you should try given that this worked for me to. Go to Desktop, Right click on desktop, Personalize, and then choose one of the Aero Themes. I did that and it worked for me
