another player caught me botting and send me a mesasge to email him.. what to do?

so as title says, i got caught botting while i was at work. i got a email from him in game stating "hey I know you are botting. don't make it so obvious. contact me at (blank)@gmail.com"
well.. it sounds like he's telling me to be careful and at the same time... it sounds like a blackmail..
i armory'ed the guy's name but shows no result.. so im assuming this was done by lvl 1 toon and got deleted.
will it set off blizz's bot protection thing? (hoping that they don't keep track of mails)
and what should i do? email the guy? can he take a screen shot and report it to blizz(of me sending him a mail back as he instructed)?
help~~ any advice would be great!

I wouldn't use my wow email acccount to email him though, use a different email account.
