From what I understand its just them pushing the old patch again for those with incomplete downloads.

It's not a new patch, it's actually "re-downloading" data which will replace current files. It's intended to resolve a few issues including disconnects and 'pink squares'.

As it's not a patch, if you're extremely eager to get into the game (or it's taking too long) you can actually bypass the launcher and run the wow.exe in your game directory and play normally. You can then continue on downloading it later after you're done playing.

I believe it was bossland who stated there would be a Dev/CC/Plugin creator's release on wed(tomorrow) and that a public release would follow shortly thereafter; As to when exactly we will get an update, it may be Wednesday or it may be another day or two. The world may never know.

According to what's posted on the front page, today was the absolute earliest it would be released. Who knows when it'll actually come out.

afaik this patch was all graphics, not even the patch # changed, which is usually a good thing.

Hence why GB is still working =)
