Another ban day?

They just got half my accounts today and im sure they are going to get the rest 7 days from now. I noticed alot of people got banned the same time on nov1 and today nov26. My accounts had literally just finished leveling professions I didnt even get a chance to make gold, I had less then 5k on any toon. I have lasted for months before but now they wipe me out once a month.

Exploiting the economy is more of a "umbrella" reason.

Can fit many things, including botting without selling for real life currency.

Same thing for me, thankfully I'm not a hardcore botter so I only have one botting account, I only just now started trading gold for gift cards and whatnot so I got $150 before they closed it. Only crappy part is I had just bought a 60 day time card from a guildmate for 60k and they locked my bot account like 3 hours after I applied the game time.

Nothing as of yet has happened to me. I talk to people on my bot accounts though, troll trade, curse and swear, recruit and kick people, move em around to different guilds and I am still here. FOr how long? no one knows

For me only my ex unmerged SoR Acc's got banned. The "normal" ones are still botting

I had 2 normal accounts banned for abuse of the economy, both were on same battle.net. Another bot on a diff. battle.net but on the same PC is fine. They got banned yesterday.

its funny how they did this just before patch day. im curious how they detected me from questing so quick and why they would ban me in the first place. I watched my accounts 100% of the time and only did about 10 hours a day.

just curious, those who are getting banned, i had my account banned years ago using a diff bot (glider) and i think it was because i was botting right before the maintenence, i doubt blizz has sweep programs running all the time, it seems as though people get caught when updates to the game are made...

thankfully dodged the bullet this time, im not a hardcore botter, maybe 2-3 hours unsupervised per day and 5 or so at night while watching movies n stuff

I don't think so. I've been DCd from botting due to maintenance, even on patch nights. I wake up and HBRelog keeps trying to log my accounts in. I still haven't been banned.

I have been so lucky as to not have been banned. I was told in the beginning from a friend who uses HB, to learn to make profiles, and keep them for yourself. That way even the tracking programs can't differentiate between you grinding with a bot, and a real player grinding. I also do NOT bot for gold. I have 90k for shits and grins, but I only gather bot for guild bank, and to make stuff for my other toons. I will rarely post stuff I have botted on the AH, if I need gold, I'll sell mats in TC instead of posting them. I do quest, but only late at night on lower level toons. Hopefully this helps!

I lost 2 also, both got banned and emailed. 6 mins time differance. Weird... first time for 1 account and 2nd time for another. Ill just make 2 more accounts and away we go.


IMO, a BG ban is in the makeing... I just hope i can earn Bloodthirsty before hand.
