Annual pass and RAF - Read, this is important!

Hello guys, I just wanted to share some info I came across yesterday.

After asking a GM why my account (one of my accounts) is not eligible for the Annual pass the answer was that my account is flagged of risky because of "abusing RAF months". I have another acc which had only one "abused RAF month" and it was eligible (signed also), so I asked, if that very same acc gets more "abused RAF months" will it cancel the annual pass and the answer was yes. Now don't get me wrong I AM NOT SAYING THAT RAF MONTHS ARE NOT WORKING FOR ANNUAL PASS I am just saying that "Abused RAF months" like the one we buy with gold or 4-5 $ will cause in losing it.

Don't buy or sell RAF months for annual pass either way you'll get in trouble with your customers/vendors. :>

I think there's a fair bit of BS in that GM. I opened a ticket and asked why mine weren't eligible, and it was bc on Oct. 27 or whenever that offer came out there wasn't a CC being used to pay for my sub. I had done Paypal, then for the last several months RAF. My boys acct just happened to have a CC on it set up to pay the sub, even though his acct had been RAF'ed for months, and he was eligible.

It looks like the account is ineligible due to the payment methods on the account. It seems the account has been active using recruit-a-friend since 7/10/2011 and Paypal was used prior to that. Paypal and RaF rewards are currently unsupported for the Annual Pass and there needs to have been a credit card active on the account when the WoW Annual Pass went live.

Well mainly I didn't make this thread for "why accs are not eligible" but for all of those who have sold/bought Annual Pass through this method, they may lose it according to this GM words because I doubt that most of the people know of that risk and at least if they r going to do it they must know about it.

You should blank out the gm's name

Blizzard monitor these forums so if they check that gm's chat log and see who he is speaking to they might investigate into your account. It would be fairly easy for them because you have the time and date in the top right of the screen.

I have annual pass and 13 months of RAF time bought with gold. RAF abuse refers to an old practice of recruiting a friend and having them sign up for a 3 month or 6 months subscription earning your the reward, they would then cancel the subscription and pay no money but the mount remained.

You must have an account in good standing which means:

No suspensions.
No charge-backs.
No missed subscription bills.
