An Excel sheet to keep track of gold income

Hi fellow botters,

I just posted in the [Azyul Project] thread, but then I realised it's something that pretty much all gold farmers can use, if you want :)

This is a shameless copy-paste of what I posted in that thread:

I've made an Excel sheet for myself to keep track of what my income is. I made a generic one which you can use.

What you can do:
- Specify the day and time of a measurement
- Specify with how many characters you botted since last measurement
- Enter the total amount of gold farmed so far (how you measure that is up to you, I just look at total gold on the guild bank)

It then calculates:
- Time difference between current measurement and previous one
- Gold difference (in total) between current measurement and previous one
- Gold difference (per char) between current measurement and previous one
- Gold income per char per hour (based on how many chars you botted with and the time between current measurement and previous one)

At the bottom of the sheet you will see:
- Grand average of gold income per hour per char
- Grand average of gold income in total (based on the average number of chars you have botted with so far)

Don't know how useful this is to people, but you can download it here:

Hi, and thanks for your contribution to the community. Please check the forum rules and with the mods before posting downloadable attachments. I know for a fact you can't post .exe files, but I'm not sure about .zip files. It's all in account of safety (viruses, malware, etc) to ensure that no one gets infected or anything. I'm not telling you to take it down. Just telling you to check to make sure this is okay so you don't get in trouble. If you've already done this and gotten the "okay", then by all means ignore my post and accept my apologies. Just looking out for a fellow community member.

For future readers...
.Zip files are fine, as long as they don't contain things like EXEs or DLLs.

Spreadsheets are a grey area not defined by the forum rules. Please be aware that spreadsheets can contain 'macro viruses' and other nasties. Most spreadsheets will err on the side of safety by default, but you should always use caution (trust the source, or scan the spreadsheet for malware).

We will allow spreadsheets until someone gets bit by one posted in our forums.

cheers,

Well you're right not to just trust anyone with ZIP files, but the only thing in it is the XSLX file and it doesn't use any macro's.

But feel free to malware-scan it whatsoever :)

Just a tip

With the Azyul profiles, all your farming data and statistics are being tracked and recorded into the Azyul database.
This goes for bot uptime, gold per hour, gold gained, profile usage, class, race, spec, level along with a few other things.

Only partial of the database is viewable to the public, but Echo has a massive database loaded with statistics from every Azyul farmer since the beginning of time. xD
It's a goldmine of information if you can get him to let you see it.
