hey, it is time to build a new botting machine. The machines i currently have all have amd fx 8350 processors, because they are cheap and i can run 5 accounts simultaneously at a cpu load of 90 %. However i am thinking of getting an i7 for my next machine, but i dont have any idea of many accounts i can run simultaneously one on a i7. So my question for i7 users is, how many accounts can you run and which i7 do you have. I am also interested in hearing experiences of botting on dual socket workstations, because you can get second hand workstations pretty cheap these days, aslong if you use hardware which is a couple of years old.

holy fuck i am such a noob, for all this time botting this game i forgot a fucking setting and i am now at 5% on my cpu, whoop whoop whoop. now it is time to order some additional ram

I would like to know too, since i will be buying a new pc in a few weeks, is there any difference in getting ddr3 and ddr4 for this? ty

Do you use Virtual Machines to run 5 clients, or the Archebuddy Account manager? Cause i have 8350 8core too with 16gb RAM and i'm able to run only 3 VM. I use 4 core and 4gb Ram on every VM and of course every client and every archebbudy are reduced at icon; with this setting i have CPU at 35% usage and RAM at 90% out of the VM.
From my experience i can say that maybe Intel is better than AMD. On my main PC i have an i5 with 16gb RAM and i can run 2 VM and play games like Black Desert and run a video caputring program too.
Btw i asked to a server programmer and he didn't know which CPU is better for gaming but he assured me that i7 are far away better than AMD in any case. Think i'll try an i7 4970k for my next PC.

Intel CPU's tend to be better than AMD for the simple fact that they are faster, games that depends on raw CPU power you will see a huge increase in FPS.
I can run 3 Archeage clients on my laptop with 6GB RAM, without VM's along with another game doing pixel recognition, so I would suggest RAM first and a decent motherboard 2nd prior to CPU actually.

PS:
I used to run Archeage in a VM, but 'm so over that shit now :P
Launch all 3 through the Account manager FTW!

So despite the massive ban you could have on multiple client useage, it's better use that than spend tons of money for a super PC for 6-7 VMs or for a workstation.
Or maybe the best solution, if you have money to spend, might be having a workstation with every VM running 3-4 account.
Dunno, still open to suggestions!

Like I said ive been botting with VM and without, not a single ban so far since launch.

Yes, i meant, speaking of money, if it is better to invest money for a good PC or Workstation for multiple VMs or if it is better to use multiple account option with AB

Personally I dont see any evidence correlating to bans related to multiple logins with or without using VM.
The only real benefit of a VM is that it might be simpler to manage when you have more than 6+ accounts through one AB client.
So my suggestion would be to maybe use one VM if your going for the absurd amount of accounts :)
