Am i doing it wrong?

Hi,

so i`m desperately trying to check out Honorbuddy, just to see how it is and things. So I´ve tried like almost everything and the only 2 things that actually work is the Huolon farm from the Buddy Store and the Fishing Buddy, even tho that only works when i`m already at the Water.

The Gatherbuddy2 is telling me, that i have no notes - Reading the Forum it`s apparently because i`m just stupid and need to load a Profile, so that`s what i did. I`ve tryed like a few dozen profiles but in most cases the character won`t even Move, in other cases i just flew in a circle indefinitely. It`s ofc exactly the same with the ProfessionBuddy.

So i gave it another try, - This time with the Archeology Buddy. It seemed to work fine at the Start, but then it got Stuck (in the middle of a road?!) and stopped. So i walked a few steps, restarted and after a while same thing happened again. After that i`ve changed the whole world and went somewhere else instead - Same result.

Next one was the BG Buddy. Now i didn`t expect miracles, but running into a horde of horde`s wasn`t the best solution. It`s literally using the same 4 abilities all the time, even after i´ve konfigured it. It`s not using any Potion, even while it`s turned on to do that, it`s not using things like Retreat or Slow Shot (Hunter Beastmastery), so this Buddy wasn`t any use at all, as it made us loose all BG`s (I`ve tryed it in 5) and i didn`t get any Conquest Points.

So, the Garrison Buddy is ok. It`s doing my Garrison Stuff and then selling everything... Wait, what? IT JUST SOLD EVERYTHING!... Ok, time to read up... Riiight so i have to change what he`s allowed to sell. Ok done that, got all my stuff bought back, let`s restart the Buddy. Good he picked up my stuff, then went to se... Oh fck this, i`m not gonna use this Buddy again.

The Mixed Mode... It`s fairly simple, just configure each Buddy separately but run them all at once. But.. Why can i not choose, which ones to run? I want the Fishing Buddy with an Auction House Profile that i downloaded, so that i can sell my fish once i got the Stack... Won`t let me do it. Hey at least the Fishing Buddy is working together with the BG Buddy in Mixed Mode...

The Questing Buddy. So there`s that Apexis Crystal Profile, which i found quite cool, except for: It literally kills ONLY the smal things and i can`t change the settings anywhere, which makes the dailies take forever. Also it got stuck twice while Looting (?) - It commanded my Pet to loot a body, then he didn`t pick it up and it did that for like 10 Minutes. The only reason he was still moving was because of the respawn.

I know i`m crying a lot about this, i`m just really confused. Am i doing something wrong? I mean is this whole Bot actually a Bot or is it like a Platform that lives on user Input? Because if i buy a Bot i want it to do things for me. The time it took me to search for all these Profiles and figure them out etc, i could`ve done what i wanted to do by myself. Also i just want to sit in my Garden and let the Bot do stuff, but i can`t, because i have to keep watching it. Most of it is either not working or no use, so what exactly is the Point of buying HonorBuddy, when i simply can download a Fishing Bot and NPC Scan, that alerts me when there`s rares? Because that`s all that seems to be working for me.

And once more for the GatherBuddy2 to the Notes - Does it actually want me to find thousands of Mining Notes and Hotspot them to make that Buddy work? Because that would be more work then just go fly & Mine.

Omation works for most of it's Profiles and so does Goldbot...I agree that a lot of profiles are plain crap...you might want to look into those.

Thanks for not flaming me to pieces. So that pack costs more then the actual Bot :/ I find this whole market system looks much like a scam. It seems to simply provide an Interface and not the actual Bots. But how good is that recommended Pack really? Is it worth the 30 Pounds? Well 25 Pound, since it`s in Euro and we are neither EU, nor do we have Euro

So will it be able to do my dailies and sell my Fish after i`m done Fishing?

That's for you to decide...there is a 3 day trial or 7 day trial and a permanent refund policy up to 30 days I believe. I didn't find it worth it as much as the Fishing Bot and the TheBrodieMan (though it is incomplete which is why I did not recommend it unless you do not mind that.)

Also, and I am not telling you what to do, there is a 14 day refund policy for HB.

Nowadays Honorbuddy have grown into advanced and sophisticated bot. It is not (for example) grind and gather only, like used to be 6 years ago.

Being such, its easiness to setup have decreased with the increased functionality, indeed.

In practice, there is dozens and dozens of botbases, combat routines, hundreds of plugins and thousands of profiles.

All of them are having its pros and cons; Some are well made, even professional, others are rough; Some work in synergy, others are incompatible. Free ones and paid ones, via the Buddy Store.

So its up on our own, which ones would best suit in our desire for automation.

While few years ago, we had quite a lot addons on the forum board, all of them free for download and run from our computer (due to forum compliance), nowadays there is another option with the Buddy Store:
Each community member, which have desire to develop addons for Honorbuddy, have opportunity to stream them from the Buddy Store (free or paid, up to him), so the Honorbuddy customers could use them, without the need to download and manually setup them on their computer.

Keep in mind, Buddy Store is made similar to AppleStore or GooglePlay, so 40% cut of the store income is dedicated for Bossland GmbH, so while purchasing, the customers are supporting Bossland too, and helping the bot to stay alive!

Check the forum - there is quite a few quality profiles for gathering herbs and ores there: Gatherbuddy 2 Profiles

You just need to download and load them locally! Keep trying till you find the one, which best suits you.

The botbase (bgbuddy) is not directly affecting the bot combat performance, but it is directly controlled by the Combat Routine, its used with, in your case probably the default one - Singular.
Keep in mind, while Singular is perfect for AFK activities, like grinding, questing or dungeons, there is tons of other Combat Routines, available for Hunter class, which are specifically tuned for PvP or Raiding.

Do not get confused by the first profile, made for the Questing botbase, you touched! It is great and powerful botbase, giving opportunity to automate almost each WoW activity!
You just need the patience to find the questing profile, which suits you most! Start your research from here: Honorbuddy Profiles
