Am I allowed to post this kind of Custom Class?

I've made a warrior arms pvp/pve Custom Class where ive used 10-15 other cc profiles to get inspiration and just copied raw code out from. Ive edited and made an own combat routine etc.

Do i need permission from all of these to publish my CC?

you could post it, giving all the original author's the credit for the parts you used, most dev's would be happy at getting the +rep they should be receiving. overwise they could just object and you can remove it

if i didnt care about you guys spending hours on making new methods i wouldnt donate regulary as i often do, and i also would publish it without asking.

its fine, just get your ducks in a row and ask, theres been plenty of times where i had to kill a project because someone used someone else's code and didn't ask.

I took the movement logics from Ezret profile, made my own combat routine and i did actually copy quite alot from your profiles aswell in order to make it work.

I have no intention what so ever to publish the profile, I just simply didnt find a PVP profile i was happy with and thats why i made my own!
neither do i feel an urge to post it here, i was simply wondering if it was allowed when i had copied codes from many and put it togheter to one.

So thank you. without your coding, this profile wouldnt look human! Id say no one could figure out this warrior is a bot!!!

All code is copied from someone even hand type fresh cc's started from seeing some one else's code. I've had a CC I made ages ago based on someones movement logic. Ask permission to release it due to that class not being well covered at the time, bout 3months later still no reply. This is the core reason why there is not as many cc's as there could be. The more the better IMO makes botters look less linier.

In my opinion (Im no CC author so I cant speak for them!) the community is about sharing aswell as everything else, so if its not to much work - go ahead and ask the authors of the code you used and see if they will allow a release! I think its sad that some classes (Take ShamWOW for example) preforms super great in whatever it does, while other classes have to use CCs that looks and preforms.. well you know! Not saying that the existing CCs are useless or anything, but some need more love

There would be too many to ask, i mean i guess half of these people isnt even active anymore.. and guessing isnt enough. So if it is like CodenameG says, that the rules of this forum is not to steal code etc i will not publish the CC.

I'm certenly not going to rewrite the whole CC or wait 2-4 weeks for answers and permissions to post it.

I'd very much like not to get banned from the forums and will therefor not publish the CC i made. And please stop sending me PM's guys, as youve read in this thread i cannot release it and neither can i give it out.

Please lock / delete this thread. I apologize for any confusion made, and im sorry to those who hoped for an arms cc which i cannot deliver.
