Is there any way to automatically have the lvl 100 alt summon a mount that I can use to let my lvl 1 alt ride in then have that alt jump in... I am interested in doing that so that I can use my lvl 1s farm the elder coins.

If i am not mistaking the oncoming patch 6.1 on wednesday will give you a mount you can use on level 1 chars.
The only thing you have to do is obtain 35 heirlooms ^^

We’re also introducing a new achievement and mount reward with Patch 6.1. The Heirloom Hoarder achievement requires 35 different heirloom items obtained on your account, and rewards the new Chauffeured Chopper mount. It’s a mount that can be used by all characters, even brand new level 1 characters. Of course, your new level 1 mage doesn’t know how to operate a mount yet, so he’ll ride passenger while driver Koak Hoburn mans the chopper.

That works but I was thinking that both can be on the same mount in so that if the low level is attacked the lvl 100 can protect him. but lvl 1 mount works too

There is an Addon called Hydra. It is amazing and truly worth having if you play on more than one acct. Within the simple settings you can have the slave toons mount when the master does. If the master mounts the new Level 1 Mount, the slave can do the same and automatically follow or follow with a simple click. It would just be a matter of setting the bot, once up and running, to use that mount on the master. Alternatively you can have the bot use any two-seater, but would have to manually mount when it does.
