Greetings xxxxxxxxx,

This mail is to notify you that we have removed the following items from your inventory:

Volatile Water
Deepsea Sagefish
Fathom Eel
Murglesnout

Unfortunately due to an unintended error certain low to mid level mobs and fishing pools were dropping Cataclysm level crafting materials. In order to protect the integrity of the game and its internal economy for the launch of Cataclysm we have removed the items that have been obtained as a result of this error.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you.

Regards,

does not mether where u keep them, if u was raported, they investigate ur whole battle net acc for that, i saw yesterday retards on my realm wich on /s say: RAPORTED, and i ask my nighberhood how he going with fishing and he said that blizz take all fish from invertory ... 2 bad, u must have luckey : )

all mine have also been taking :( and no i were not advertising it or selling them, they were in my bank

kinda stupid that they remove it when they are responsible for the misstake. People cou,d have spendt alot of time obtaining the fish,..

yea but love the part wher ther said : We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you. but i am glad that they "only" have take them and say "We apologise" ther just might have ban me the

To issue a ban for this sucks, especially when they once said that they were available to catch for those that had upgraded accounts to Cata (or did I misread that?) Anyway, ban still sucks for what is basically an error on their part. That said, I did delete the fish I had. I only had a few stacks and I can get to 525 cooking without them now (that was my main goal) I still have a few volatile water in my guild bank on my botting account. I'm planning on keeping these and just saying that I forgot to delete them if anything bad happens :D

Honestly.. it's not like it's going to make anyone a huge amount of gold. My bet is that 99% of players won't even glance at the AH until 85, and by that time the AH will have plenty of mats.
