AH problems :(

Running into the problem over and over again.....

Ill put something up, or somethings* and its just immediatly undercut and just wont sell cause my undercutter gets undercut himself, just a slippery slope sadly.

What do you guys do with this problem. I see people on here saying they make 15k a day. Yesterday I made like ~1000 with a ton of auctions up, because of what happens.

Good news though - I did find one private buyer for my herbs / ore. which is good, but he doesnt need something every day.

Sounds like you're on a heavily populated server with a lot of bots, therefore I would assume that your prices are SHIT and tons of people competing to unload their bulk. I would look into xfering, I know on most of my servers my elementium ore is still at 30g, with one of my servers selling instantly at 47g/stack.. whereas my RL friend has a server selling 19g.. huge difference that is solved by transferring, you're losing out on money if you stick with 19/g stack of ele. My lowest server ist at 25g/stack which I'll take.

My herbs went up to 30g but seem to drop down to 25g again, thinking of moving my herb toons to obsidium.

Anywho, to directly answer your Q, when I have problems selling bulk, I usually undercut by a large margin, maybe 3-5g which usually catches someones eyes and gets bought up instantly.. never had a problem beyond that, but if it keeps happening I would move, I rarely have huge undercuts because I dont pick the most populated servers, but as I said I have RL friend that does this and he decided to choose tichondrius, kiljaeden, malganis etc and it was a good learning experience.
 
same here, ore is about 30g/stack, ashvale and most other herb are around 35g/stack up to 50g/stack...i always sell my stuff doenst matter if someone untercuts my prices, i personally earn the most money with the volatile stuff, made about 7k today just by selling a few stacks of volatile earth, 10 are about 80g-100g, depends on the weekday...in about 5-6 days using GB i made it up to 50k.

as the guys above already mentioned, if the prices are fu**ed up, just do a free transfer ( or even a paid ).
 
Yah volatiles make me my bulk but ore/herb prices definately show when they're low low low..

Whiptail on my server is the most consistent higher priced(40g) mat so I farm that route w/ some ele as well. I have setup a private herb/ore buyer to buy literally everything I have except volatiles which I sell in 100's on AH at ~5-15% under AH price but you pay no fees and have no wait if you can find someone like this.

He pays me:
Whiptail -40g/stack <AH is @ 40-45avg>
 Cinderbloom - 22g/stack <AH is @ 25avg>
 Elementium Ore - 24g/stack <AH is @ 25avg>

*IF you still have to resort to using the AH. I suggest using eAuction and posting 10 of X item every 20-30minutes at an undercut of no more than 5%.

**Also, check your AH every once in a while and see if you're posting at the peak in server prices where nobody is buying and there is someone manipulating. Most of the player base isn't online to buy right then and will therefore drop with supply and demand

Thats the thing though Elemetium is running like 58g per stack ATM, and all the herbs are high too. I sold 8k gold worth of herbs to a private buyer for 60g per stack and that was with a discount. Eco. Isn't bad just bad luck I guess
 
And what is this eauction? Isn't that a paid deal? How much and is it worth the cost ?
