AH buddy --- Safe?

I hear auction bots are generally the way botters get nabbed --- is using HB's professionbuddy AH bot a safe route?
If i can figure out how to get it to work - All I want to do is check every minute or so if i have been undercut -- cancel undercuts and relist.
