Note Playing on EU servers from US IP

22/7/2014 - 5pm Start Botting on Frozen account
23/7/2014 - 2am Bot DCed
23/7/2014 - 6am Restarted Botting
23/7/2014 - 8 am Bot DCed
23/7/2014 - 10 am Account locked

at this point I told a friend of mine from EU to log in and check the account since I was at work
turned out account was not suspended and it was working normally

23/7/2014 - 11am Account Temporarily disabled

Email that I received when account got disabled

This might have been a suspicion for botting on my account but due to the fact that my friend logged in from EU,
the account got flagged as compromised or something in a similar manner.
 
Yeah, this is not the same as a ban. You should be good once you can verify to Blizz that you're the owner of the account and everything is good to go.
 
I believe I was saved by the fact that my buddy logged in and basically made it look like a hack

If you can't make that connection to the temporary lock of your account because it was believed to be hacked.
You shoulden't be on this forum.

There's no ban there's no buddy getting you flagged there's just you writing the explanation of your problem and not understanding it.

I am sharing with the rest of the people on the forum how i almost got banned, after all this is a discussion board to raise awareness of the situation.

Lately there have been a large number of created threads in this section that do not report bans.
The threads I am talking about do not report bans and only attempt to theorize on how they are getting detected & banned, or to complain that they were banned like there was a 0% chance of that happening anyway.

Starting from here on out, all posts in this section that are not ban reports will be deleted and ignored.

I am sorry, pal, but this scenario is up since a few years, and its not related to the famous Warden update at all!

If you bot for 9 hours straight on an account, expect to get hit even with Battle.net Error #202 anytime soon!

Can't you see I just quoted you mentioning 2 things?

1 your account got locked 2 before it got locked you asked someone else from a different ip to login therefor your account got locked.

If you still can't see why this is unrelated to honorbuddy you should seriously get some help.


Bot didn't get your account locked a login from a different ip address did....
