after 72 hour ban

I was banned for 72 hours for buying some gold. Is it safe to bot still? I've never been caught or banned for botting and this was my first ban ever. I am just paranoid now that blizzard will ban me right away! Does blizz watch your account more closely after a ban or so long as I am smart with how I bot I should be safe.
